She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul A. Troutwine and Nancy "Ellen" Troutwine (Lovell); her son Steven Smale; and her stepson Larry South. She is survived by: her children, Frederick Smale of Ft. Collins, CO, Timothy Smale (Darlyn) of Elkhart, IN, Gregory Smale (Rita) of Citra, FL and Shelley McCarthy (Frank); her stepdaughter Connie Kujawa of Vandalia, MI; and her grandchildren, Scott, Adam Smale, Kelley, Ian McCarthy, Joseph Smale, Shannon Takas, Callie Genser, Tanner Smale, Rob Kujawa, Megan, Lowell South, Jeannie and Mike Daily. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
