Though Phillip may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Phillip touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Arthur P. Hicks; his children, Derek Hicks and Shonda R. Null; and his sister-in-law Gail Hicks. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Hicks (Peed); his children, Micah Hicks (Emily), Sonya Imus (Shane) and Shyla Hedman; and his brothers, Steven Hicks (Kay) and Arthur "Gene" Hicks. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; a great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home (1911 S Main St, Goshen, IN 46526). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
