It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca Ann Elias of Goshen, Indiana, born in Elkhart, Indiana, who passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Russel Rinker and Mildred Rinker (Cowgill); her brother John C. Rinker; and her son-in-law Jeffrey Gowdy. She is survived by : her daughters, Mercy M. Elias of Elkhart, Jenna R. Handow (Michael) of Elkhart and Mildred J. Gowdy of Elkhart; her granddaughter Em Claire Gowdy of Elkhart; her sister Ethel Milanese (Larry) of Goshen; and her sister-in-law Nancy L. Rinker of Elkhart.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Walley - Mills - Zimmerman Funeral Service (700 E Jackson Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46516). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or to Heartland Hospice.
