He was predeceased by: his parents, Muriel Cripe (Vondersmith) and Newell Cripe; his stepparents, Mary Cripe and George Reed; his stepson Benjamin Dale Yoder; and his brother Richard Cripe.
He is survived by: his wife Lydia Yoder (Stutzman); his children, Melody Bassett (Don) of Goshen, Pamela McCowan (Robert) of Goshen and Ronald Cripe, Jr. of Middlebury; his stepchildren, Mattie "Rosie" Yoder of Oceola, John "David" Yoder (Amanda) of Milford and Philip Yoder of Goshen; his sister Brenda Steller of Ligonier; his half-siblings, Kimberly Ann Waynee of Pierceton and Mark Reed (Michelle Sinclair) of Elkhart; and his sister-in-law Marite Cripe of Ligonier.
