She was predeceased by: her parents, Manford Nusbaum and Evelyn Nusbaum (Fulmer); her husband Dewayne L. Carpenter Jr.; and her siblings, William "Bill" Nusbaum and Sharon Vaughn.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Carpenter, Mike Carpenter (Lori) and Rita Bergman (Eric); her grandchildren, Nic Kingsbury (Madison), Lexi Bergman, Kenzie Bergman, Faith Carpenter, Alayna Kingsbury and Caleb Carpenter; her great grandchildren, Peyson and Remi; and her brother Lester Nusbaum (Roxanne).
