With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sarah E. Roeder of Goshen, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 14, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sarah E. Roeder to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Austin and Kathryn Virginia Petgen (Leek); her close friend Donald Matthews; and her brothers, David (Joan) and John Petgen (Sharon).

She is survived by: her sons, Robert Roeder (Sarah) of Goshen, Steven Roeder (Susana) of San Antonio and James Roeder (Vicki) of Syracuse; and her siblings, Mary Stringham, Paul Petgen (Sue) and Lydia Allman (Royer). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
