With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley I. Hardesty of Goshen, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Stauffer and Susie Stauffer (Brown); her husband Charles Hardesty; and her siblings, Larry Stauffer and Dorcas Bertran.
She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Horton (William) of Three Rivers; her grandchildren, Travis, Matthew (Nichole), Ryan Henline (Carlye) and Megohn Horton; her great grandchildren, Tansley (Cole), Oliver, J. Charlie and Noah; her great great grandchild Paislee; her sister Carol May of New Paris; her sisters-in-law, Cami Hardesty of Goshen and Mary VanHook of Goshen; her brothers, Charles Stauffer of Goshen and Ronnie Stauffer of Elkhart; and her nephews, Kevin Ulery of Elkhart, James Ulrey of White Pigeon, Ben May of Illinois and Will VanHook.
