She was predeceased by: her parents, John Andrew and Lucy Ellen Jackson (Ridinger); her brother Jerry L. Jackson; her nephew Barry Lee Jackson; and her great-niece Alexis.

She is survived by: her sibling's children, Sherry Holloway (Kelly) and Gary Jackson (Vicky); and her close friend Richard Stern.

She never did use government funds, only used donations and fundraising.
