He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Kierpiec and Janet Kierpiec (Franks) of Midland, Michigan; his wife Lisa Kierpiec (Elchert) of Goshen; his children, Christina J. Kierpiec of Indianapolis and Timothy J. Kierpiec of Michigan; his stepson Joseph W. Elchert of Goshen; and his siblings, Paul Kierpiec (Chandra) of Midland, Marcie Kierpiec of Midland and Anthony Kierpiec (Rhonda) of Charleston. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
