He was predeceased by: his parents, Tobias L. Yoder and Lydia Yoder (Miller); his stepmother Edna Yoder (Miller); his siblings, Ervin, Elmer, Perry Yoder, Orpha Miller, Beulah Yoder, Rosa Bontrager and Anna Mae Yoder; his half-brother Clarence Yoder; and his stepsiblings, Sara Lehman, Melvin and Marvin Shrock.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Chupp; his children, Alan Yoder (Arlene) of Shipshewana, LeAnn Yoder (Daniel) of Goshen and Norine Hostetler (David) of Topeka; his siblings, Alvin Yoder of LaGrange, Christy Yoder (Anna) of Vevay, IN, Milo Yoder (Lorene) of St. Ignatius, MT, Susie Miller of Dalton, WI, Verna Hershberger (Owen) of Mora, MN and Wilma Beechy (Elmer) of Shipshewana; his half-sisters, Erma Miller (Marvin) of Middlebury and Esther Yoder of Hillsboro, WI; his stepsisters, Katie Lengacher (Ora) of Davis County, Fannie Miller (Leroy) of Goshen and Mary Miller (Ezra) of Holton, MI; and his siblings-in-law, Ora Miller of Libby, MT and Ruby Yoder of Hillsboro, WI.. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Daniel Yoder Residence (15314 State Rd 4, Goshen, IN 46528). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at the Square Cemetery (14160 Co Rd 126, Middlebury, IN 46540).
