He is survived by: his former spouse La Vonne Becker; his daughter Lynn Arends (James); his grandchildren, Adam Arends (Kristen), David Arends (Jessica), Rachel Lind (Jared) and Andrew Arends (Ashley); and his sisters, Mary Weaver and Norma Hilbish. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
