It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia N. Mock of Goshen, Indiana, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Yohn and Elsie Yohn (Bowman); and her brother Fred Yohn. She is survived by: her husband Gordon D. Mock; and her children, Anita Hanawalt (Mock) and Neal Mock. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A note placed in the pocket of a donated coat for German civilian relief at the close of World War II resulted in a lifelong friendship, first as pen pals and then visits to Germany and Australia.
