She was predeceased by : her father Duane Richard James; and her grandparents, Genevieve, Herman Fletcher, Duane and Lois James.

She is survived by : her mother Beverly Hammonds; her stepfather Paul Hammonds of Gosport; her children, Jude Warthen (Amanda) of Greenwood and Anessa Warthen (Rodney Bowman) of Monrovia; her brother Mike James (Trisch) of Martinsville; and her pets, Bailey, Brody and Rayleigh. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
