We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2020, at the age of 88, Dorothy J Howell (Grandview, Indiana), born in Cannelton, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Strother Lloyd and Nettie Lloyd (Melburn); her husband Earl Lewis Howell; her son-in-law Charles Webb; and her grandson Jason Eble.

She is survived by : her daughters, Cathy Landingham (Ken) of Grayville, IL and Sandy Webb of Newtonville, IN; her grandchildren, Jeremy Eble, Jenny Shaw, Sherry Allen and Jawhasha Seaford; and her sister Carolyn Smith (Rex). She is also survived by Great-grandchildren, and Great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church.

“Fond memories of Dorothy . She played at my wedding in Dec. 1978 at the New Hope Baptist Church. Formerly a Newtonville resident myself, I know the family.
