He was predeceased by: his father Joseph A. Bell Sr.; and his sister Vickie Lanham. He is survived by: his mother Rita Bell (Whitten) of Evansville, IN; his close friend Brenda Bell; his stepdaughters, Lee Ann Schwoeppe (Edwin) and Stacey Meyer; his grandchildren, Cody Meyer (Chelsea) and Mariah Schwoeppe; his great grandchildren, Lettie and Goldie Meyer; and his niece Kira Wahl.
