She was predeceased by : her parents, Glenn Overton and Mary Lee Cottrell (Bramble); her brother Charles; and her sister-in-law Linda Cottrell. She is survived by : her husband Norman Harry Merritt; her children, Norman Dennis Merritt (Mary) and Kathleen Ann Merritt; her grandchildren, N. Dennis Merritt, Douglas Arthur Merritt (Ann), Natalie Elizabeth Merritt-Sullivan (Christopher) and Nathan Daniel Merritt; her great grandchildren, Aaron Patrick Merritt, Noah Christopher Sullivan, Amelia Bryn Merritt, Ivy Elizabeth Sullivan and Keegan Heath Sullivan; her nieces, Charlene Cottrell-Lanning (Gale), Debbie Cottrell-Metzger and Diana Cottrell; and her nephew Andrew Cottrell.
