Byron Simmons Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 23, 2022, at the age of 81, Byron Simmons of Granger, Indiana, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Simmons and Jacqueline Simmons (Overmeyer); his son John Simmons; his grandson Gerrard Longbrake; and his siblings, Sidnette Ann Chin and Buddy Kauffman.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Martineau; his children, Claire Hartman (Marc), Catherine Martineau-Otis (Jimmy), Mark Simmons (Christopher) and Caroline Longbrake (Brent); his grandchildren, Ian Hartman (Gabrianna), Kaitlyn Hartman (Cayla) and Brianna Longbrake; his siblings, Diane Locke (Jim), Bonnie Falls (John), Gayle Houser (Roger), Kelly Valdez and Kevin Furthmiller (Donna); and his family, Marc, Tomb Raider, Ian, Kaitlyn, Brianna, Caroline, Claire, Catherine, Jimmy, Mark and Brent. He is also survived by his children's friends considered him like a 2nd Dad.
The family requests that any contributions be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
