We announce the death of Elaine Hoffman of Granger, Indiana, who passed away on July 12, 2026, at the age of 82. Elaine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Daehler and Dorothy Daehler Schearer (Weast); and her stepgrandsons, Justin Schmeichel and Robert Hoffman. She is survived by: her former husband Robert Gerald Begley; her children, Allen Begley of Mountain Home and Donna Begley Schmeichel (Keith) of Niles, Michigan.; her husband Phillip "Butch" E. Hoffman; her daughter-in-law Dana; her friend Mary Lou Coussens; her sisters, Marilyn Gadway (Stan) and Carol Ellison; her stepchildren, Phillip, Dennis, Kim Hogan, James (Dana) and Timothy Hoffman (Denise); her grandchildren, Danielle Begley and Garrett Begley; and her stepgrandchildren, Hannah Schmeichel, Mike Hoffman, Bethany Hoffman, Johanna Hogan, Skye Hoffman (R. J.), Holly Reagan (Devin), Theodore Hoffman, Hailey Hoffman and Preston Hoffman.
