She was predeceased by: her husband John; her siblings, Friedrich, Walter Heinz, Gunter, Ralf, Dieter, Anni Nicolay, Irma Heinfling, Ilse Nicolay and Melita; and her parents, Friedrich Nicolay and Catherina Nicolay (Palike).
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff (Patty) of Granger, IN and Gregory of Lemont, IL; her granddaughters, Erica Briones (Doug) of Granger, IN, Megan Monoceros of Warsaw, Amanda Fleischman of Luxembourg City, Michelle Frasier (Corey) of Westfield, IN and Elise Fleischman of Kansas City, MO; and her brother Helmut Nicolay. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
