It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Greenwood of Granger, Indiana, born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Jay may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jay touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Greenwood and Stella Greenwood (Stefanski); and his siblings, Joyce Tetzlaff and Tom Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Diana Greenwood (Grindeland); his children, Cara Alderfer (Kevin) of Granger and Adam Greenwood (Katie) of Noblesville, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Jensen, Addilyn and Alex; and his sister Sue Parma of Dallas, Texas..
