He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Ludwig and Grace Ruth Ludwig (Weyrick); his daughter Penny Parker; his brother William Ludwig; his stepsiblings, Ruth Miller, Mary Highway, Betty Siddall, Clarence Bassett and Franklin Bassett; and his sister-in-law Edith Barrett.
He is survived by: his spouse Roma C. Krum; his stepson Donald R. Neukom; his son Larry Lyle Ludwig; and his grandchildren, Cynthia Neukom, Michelle Neukom, Donald Neukom and Cheryl Ludwig.
