She was predeceased by: her parents, William Boyd and Jeri Huber; and her brother Steven Boyd. She is survived by: her husband Dale Garwood; her children, Ashlee Hogan (Dan), Jacob Garwood (Allyson) and Joseph Garwood (Jaimey); her sister Nikki Sacks of California; her grandchildren, Alexis Meyers (Evan), Abbigail Jackman (John), Amira Garwood and Joey Garwood; and her niece Andrea Morales. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Granger Community Church - Granger (630 E University Dr, Granger, IN 46530). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Margaret's House in South Bend, Indiana, where Lori faithfully volunteered and served women in need.
