We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2023, at the age of 58, Michael Schuhknecht (Granger, Indiana), born in Benton Harbor, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parent Dean Schuhknecht; and his pet Bella. He is survived by : his mother Sharron Kinel (Gegot) of Adrian, MI; his wife Jennifer; his granddaughter Sophia Grace Payne; and his siblings, Jeff Schuhknecht (Pam) of Portage, MI and DeAnne Lewin of Adrian, MI.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family, for the purchase of Red Bud trees to create a memorial in his honor on the family farm.

“Dr. Schuhknect was the best! He was truly a doctor with a super bedside manner! I enjoyed my office visits because he talked with me about more than just my medical issues. We discussed everything from politics to religion...two things one should never discuss, but we had no trouble talking about them. He was a friend. I am so sad to hear about this! To his family...I cannot say enough about how much I'm sure he is missed by you. Thank you for sharing him with us, his patients.”
