He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Moffa and Catherine Moffa (Calbaice); and his brothers, Dan, Tony and Mike Moffa.
He is survived by: his close friend Karen Takach of Granger; his daughter Tracey Moffa-Hanson (John); his stepson Cory Gehring (Rachel); his grandchildren, Theresa Henson, Richard Paul Patrick Henson, Sierra Weller (Austin), Cory Gehring Jr. and Camille Tamayo; and his great grandchildren, Melody and Damon Weller.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cruz Family Funeral Home (1109 Lincolnway W, Osceola, IN 46561). The military honors will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cruz Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service (1109 Lincolnway W, Osceola, IN 46561).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to organizations supporting military veterans or K-9 rescue efforts.
