He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille Brezger; his parents, J. Arthur Johnson and Ethel Johnson; his sons, Kim Johnson and Kerry Johnson; and his siblings, Kenneth Johnson, Gerald Johnson and Barbara Lau.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tonda Lowell (Gary) and Valerie Parcell (Richard); his foster son Michael Neal; his sister DeEtta "June" Williamson; and his grandchildren, Trina Groves (Paul), Jeff Parcell (Traci), Tammy Parcell-Bowyer, Shawn Johnson, Kimber Johnson, Erik Johnson and Kyle Johnson. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or to Augustana Lutheran Church.
