“I knew Audrey through her daughter, Sharon who is a dear friend and classmate. Sharon and I planted a redbud tree from the Gough yard onto Audrey’s yard in 1968. It was a gift from Sharon to her mother and it still grows there. I always appreciated how close Sharon and her mother were. I still see Sharon when I visit Greencastle and I can catch her in her law office.”
