She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood W. Pollom and Helen I. Pollom (Miller); her husbands, Dr. Donald Brattain and Dallas Nichols; her sons, Jeffrey Carr and David Brattain; and her grandson Keith Carr.
She is survived by: her sons, Drew Brattain and Mark Carr (Julie); her daughter-in-law Jill Brattain; her grandchildren, Makenzie Carr, Nicholas Brattain (Jennifer), Eric Brattain (Ciera), Emma Wolfe (Micah), Elijah Brattain and Hannah Brattain; and her pet Butch. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
