She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Riley and Wilhelmina Riley (Hoste); her husband James G. Stitzle; and her sister Patricia A. Riley. She is survived by: her children, Chris Stitzle (Erika) of Carlisle, Indiana, Stephen Kelly Stitzle of Greencastle, Indiana and Kerry McLain (David) of Greencastle, Indiana.; her grandchildren, Karina Stitzle of Greencastle, Derek Stitzle of Midland and Keeghan Bennett (Gabe) of Indianapolis, Indiana; and her great grandchild Khaleesi Ayers of Kokomo, Indiana.. She is also survived by mother her children could always count on and a grandmother who found immense joy in her grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home (602 E Washington St, Greencastle, IN 46135). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM. She worked for her father, Donald Riley, a public accountant, and later became an employee of RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program).
