He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Pierce and Arrow Pierce; and his wife Dona Joan Irwin. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Glenn (Denny), Jeff Pierce (Shannon) and Tawnya Hunter (Mitchell); his grandchildren, Fran Dahlstrom (Brayden), Michael Glenn, Jessica Glenn, Jordan Pierce (Chelsey), James Pierce, Skyler Hunter (Taylor) and Jake Hunter (Hunter); and his siblings, Wanda Stevens, Barbara Bustle and Steve Pierce. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home (4 Percy L Julian Dr, Greencastle, IN 46135). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Riley Hospital for Children in his honor.
