Daniel Ross Sims Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Ross Sims of Greencastle, Indiana, who passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Sims and Nannie Sims (Furney); his brother Ronnie Sims; his in-laws, PJ Hamilton and Mary Hamilton Luke; and his siblings-in-law, Judith Pryor and Bud King.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Sims (Hamilton); his sons, Travis Wayne Sims and John Ross Sims; his siblings, Hubert "Sonny" Sims (Millie), Lola Pearl Norris (Don) and Marcia King; and his sister-in-law Myra Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
