She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Buis and Donnis Buis; and her brothers, Dean Buis and Wayne Buis. She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Scott Crawford (Tami) and Eric Todd Crawford (Beverly); her siblings, Darrell Buis (Charla), David Buis and Jeanne Berry (John); and her sister-in-law Millie Buis. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home (4 Percy L Julian Dr, Greencastle, IN 46135).
