She was predeceased by : her parents, Clayton Cox and Winnie Cox (Davis); her husband William E. Knauer; her daughter Diane Allee; and her siblings, Betty Bruner and Russell Cox.

She is survived by : her children, Michael E. Knauer of Greencastle and June E. Query (Rick) of Reelsville; her siblings, Barbara Stewart, Bernice Morgan and Jerry Cox (Wilma); and her pet Pepper. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
