He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert York and Mary Meeks (Kean); his son James C. "Chris" York; his brother Rod York; and his son-in-law Charley Brann.
He is survived by: his wife Caron J. York; his grandsons, Christian York (Brittany) and Andrew York (Emily); his children, Dawn Brann, Bob Buis (Jeannie), Diane Kendall (Randy) and Lori Miller (Joe); and his brother Brent York. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
