James left this world on July 23, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Turpin and Daisy Turpin (Fulk). He is survived by: his children, David Turpin, Kimberly Kenworthy and Laurie Elliott; his grandchildren, Allen Hopper, Daniel Kenworthy and Haley Kenworthy; and his great grandchildren, Alice and Vernetia.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hilldale Cemetery (1489 E Morgan St, Martinsville, IN 46151).
