She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Welsh and Ethel Welsh (Miller); and her siblings, Eldon Coller, Frederick Welsh, Alice Welsh Davies and Grace Welsh Winslow.

She is survived by: her husband Steven E. Widmer of Lafayette; her son Vincent Smith (Carol) of Avon; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Smith, Amanda Shiner and John Misener.
