The memory of Robert Ray Hedge of Greencastle, Indiana, who passed away on October 14, 2025 at the age of 73, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his mother Lela Hedge (Eggers). He is survived by: his father Howard Hedge; his wife Sherry McMains (Sanford); his children, Rebecca Nightingale (Ed), Dara McMains, Katharine Bonnoront (Andrew) and Bill Hedge (Katy); his grandchildren, Ellie, Jude, Gracie, Samantha, Julia, Abby, Mia and Evie; and his sister Marcia Wells (Charles). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home (602 E Washington St, Greencastle, IN 46135). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Forest Hill Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tiger Pointe Country Club (37 US-231, Greencastle, IN 46135).
