He is survived by: his mother Anita Gomez; his wife Lizbeth Figueroa Avila; his children, Gerardo Diaz-Figueroa, Rodolfo Diaz-Figueroa, Sebastian Diaz-Figueroa, Rodrigo Diaz-Figueroa and Camila Diaz-Figueroa; and his siblings, Luis Hector Diaz-Gomez, Cristina Diaz-Gomez, Ana Karen Diaz-Gomez and Tanina Martinez-Gomez. He is also survived by several nieces and nephew.
