He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvel Roach (Shorty) and Zella Roach; and his siblings, Kate Marshall, James Roach, Margaret Underwood, Lucille White and Mildred O'Neal.

He is survived by: his former wife Evelyn Birkemeier; his wife Suzanne; his children, Thomas W. Roach (Sheri), Beth Naylor (Jeff), Janet Erickson (Todd) and North; his grandsons, Adam Roach (Amy), Alex Roach Beckley (Lindsey), Ayrton Erickson and Dalton Erickson (Katie); and his great grandchildren, Claire Roach, Lillian Roach and Eleanor Beckley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
