She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Remmel and Bertha Remmel; her husband Jim Escue; and her siblings, Donnie Joe "Smitty" Smith, Ronnie Remmel and Carolyn "Sue" King.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Escue (Jamie), Gary Escue (Paula) and Tim Escue (Brenda); and her nibling Miss Kitty. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East (10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
