It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David B Pfaff of Greenfield, Indiana, who passed away on May 6, 2026, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David B Pfaff to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Pfaff and Imogene Pfaff; his in-laws, Ben and Vanessa Thompson; and his grandson River.

He is survived by: his wife Jane Pfaff; his children, Aaron Pfaff (Cara), Amanda Ruble (Rob), Andrew Pfaff (Caraline) and Samuel Pfaff (Chelsey); his grandchildren, Ava, Kellen, Henry, Scarlett, Miles and Bailey; and his brothers, Doug Pfaff and Paul Pfaff.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brandywine Community Church (1551 E New Rd, Greenfield, IN 46140). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

The family asks that memorial donations be made in honor of David to the Eastern Hancock Education Foundation or the Eastern Hancock Athletic Boosters.

“I have lost a true friend . Since 1991 when Jessica was a US History student . Dave Pfaff was a household name to me . Many many years have true memories . Then Molly played basketball for Dave for four years . I was proud to walk the halls with Dave at Eastern Hancock when we taught the youth of American . One of his happy days was when I brought him a fried bologna sandwich for his breakfast . Now I have relied on his wisdom of basketball to pass along to Kiersten . Which he named Little Molly”
