He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd DeJarnett and Margaret DeJarnett (Padgett); and his sister Martha Lou Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Frances DeJarnett (Tomasello); his children, Kim Nelson (Joel) and Elden DeJarnett, Jr.; his sister Phyllis Stephens; and his grandchildren, Olivia DeJarnett and Will DeJarnett. He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
