She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Arnold and Betty Lou Shively (Fields). She is survived by: her husband Tim Couse; her children, Jeremy Cross (Diane) and Jennifer Kern (Jason); her grandchildren, Cameron, Ella, Addyson, Lucas, Benton and Genevieve; and her siblings, Robert Shively II (Jane), Donna Corbin (Bill), Michael Shively (Laura) and Jay Shively (Cathy). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of best friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory (1484 US-40, Greenfield, IN 46140). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
