He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hughes and Tempie Hughes (Conkwright); his sister Loana Corrado (Hughes); and his nephew Billy Stansell. He is survived by: his wife Joan Peters (Betty); his children, Douglas, Mike Hughes (Lorri) and Cathy Jennings (Clinton); his grandchildren, Corbin Jennings (Katie), Corina Jennings (Marcus) and Katie Letherer (Dylan); his stepdaughters, Sara Wright (Tom) and Anna Halsey; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Chloe, Shiloh, Astrid and William.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel (1780 W Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
