He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl and Rosalind "Rosie" Burk (Phares); his siblings, Michael Burk, Greg Burk and Katrina Burk; and his father-in-law Jerry Horsley.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda (Horsley); his sons, Mitchel Burk (Melissa), Spencer Burk (Anna) and Carter Burk (Grace); his grandchildren, Charlotte, Calvin, Simon, Nora, Lucy, Remy, Miles and Mila; and his siblings, Richard Burk (Trina) and Cindy Burk (Chris). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
