Larry Griffey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Griffey of Greenfield, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leeman Griffey and Lucille Griffey (Williams); his siblings, Gene, Charlie and Glenda; and his parents-in-law, Howard, Imogene Davis and Raymond Compton.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Davis Griffey; his children, Mickey Griffey (Gail), Bobby Griffey and Deanna Johnson (Brian); his grandchildren, Ethan Griffey, Connor Griffey, BJ Griffey, Alicia Griffey, Evan Griffey, Justin Sherrick, Allison Hisey and Luke Owens; and his sisters, Sandy Hensley and Brenda Graham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (7355 IN-109, Knightstown, IN 46148). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Righteous Oaks Baptist Church, at 8356 N State Road 109, Wilkinson, IN, 46186.
