Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Margaret Louise Smith of Greenfield, Indiana, born in Straughn, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 104, on July 2, 2020. She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Davis Jones and Grace Helen Jones (Hudlson); her husband Kenneth Smith; her son Michael Howard Smith; and her siblings, Robert R. Jones, Miriam Proctor, Ruth Goodwin and Ilarose Cupp.

She is survived by : her children, James D. Smith (Dorothy) of Maui, Hawaii, Carol Jean Hiner of Norristown, Joyce McNabb (Donald Sylvester) of Greenwood and Barbara L. Aton (Ronald) of Edinburgh. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Bradley United Methodist Church 210 National Rd, Greenfield, IN 46140, or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.

Terri Fox Novaria wrote a sympathy message

“We were not aware that Margaret had passed last year. Our dad was a cousin to her, Robert Fox, whose mother Rhoda was the sister to Raymond Jones, Margaret’s father. Our grandmother Rhoda had a close relationship with Grace and her daughters, Margaret, Miriam, Ruth and Ila Rose. I believe all of them attended my wedding in Danville in 1979. Our dad passed away in 2017, and our mom, Carryl Fox, just this past spring. Our condolences to you on the loss of Margaret - what an amazingly long life!”
