She was predeceased by: her parents, L. L. Newton and Thelma Elizabeth Newton (Bundy); her husband Charles O. Cooley; her granddaughter Linda LeAnne Cooley; and her sister Betty Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Charlasu "Susie" Hunt (Daniel) of Carthage, Newton Cooley (Janet) of Germantown and Maralasu "Mesu" Andrews (Roy) of Fort Wayne; her grandchildren, Graham Hunt (Tabby), Gretchen Lee (Andrew), Jennifer Wetzel (Adam), Julia Hunt, Judy Wipf (Kenneth), Ginger Wipf (Travis), Grant Hunt (Tara), Jedidiah Hunt (Anna), Joy Warren (Rayson), Johanna Hunt, Heidi Reiste (Thad), Joshua Cooley (Jennifer), Laura Blackwell (Brandon), Hans Cooley (Lori), Joni Reeves (Joe), Bruce Cooley (Brett), Amanda Thomas, John Fowler, Katrina Bonham (Jason) and Emily King (Brad); and her sister Virginia Hardy of Greenfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
