She was predeceased by: her parents, Ebbon Childress and Girtie Childress (Tyson); her sons, Jimmy Middleton and David Middleton; her grandson Jeremy Woosley; and her siblings, James Childress, Gary Childress and Mary Ruby Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Middleton of Greenfield, IN, Teresa Ervin (Brian) of Indianapolis, IN, Doug Middleton (Michelle) of Shelbyville, IN and Sharon O'Maley (Randy) of Indianapolis, IN; her grandchildren, Jessica Middleton, Erika Middleton, Tyler Middleton and Brianna Nichter (Jason); her great grandchildren, Skylar, Brantley, Miles, Charlotte and Adalee; and her sister Doris Buchanan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
