He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Lloyd and Martha May Roberts (Hopper). He is survived by: his wife Barbara S. Roberts (Phelps); his children, Steven Roberts (Heather), Gary Roberts (Kathy) and Lorie Mundell (Sam); his brother Randall Roberts; and his close friend Joe Lane. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson.
