He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Hensley and Mary Bell Hensley (Combs); his wife Carolyn Christina Stidd; and his sister Josephine Spangler. He is survived by: his children, Sidney Hensley III, Stuart Hensley, Robert Hiner, Scott Hiner and Courtney Hiner; and his sister Vinna Lucas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory (124 E North St, Morristown, IN 46161). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
